Dr. Kitson-Smith worked for 25 years at ExxonMobil and was appointed Global Aviation Technical Manager in 1998. In July 2012, he established a consultancy service providing technical expertise on aviation fuel manufacture, testing, storage, handling, distribution and delivery. He represents Vitol Aviation in JIG, the EI, IATA and Fuel Specification groups, and is also an active member of the JIG PQ Committee.
