OPERATIONS

operational excellence for our members

JIG Standards, our Inspection and Inspector Training programme, our work on Filtration (Filter Monitor phase Out)

The Operations Committee’s subject matter experts consolidate Members’ knowledge and experience to produce and maintain JIG’s technical publications. The Committee’s main role is to ensure the continued evolution of the JIG Standards, to support the JIG Inspection programme and to contribute its expertise to the key industry topics being worked on by JIG.

The Committee is currently reviewing changes to EI/JIG 1530 and EI 1533, has started the update cycle for the next edition of the Standards (Issue 14, expected 2027) and Technical Information documents such as TID#4 on Sustainable Aviation Fuels.

To support some changes in Issue 13 of the Standards, we have also published:
– A self Assessment Checklist for Filter Vessel Compliance with EI 1596
– A list of approved CLADS (Coupler lift assistance device) provided by the Hydrant Coupler Manufacturers.
