Misfuelling – Avgas Instead Of Jet Fuel

An aircaft called to the tower for Jet Fuel upon landing. The tower passed the wrong fuel grade to the fuelling operator, who didn’t notice the product grade decalls on the aircraft.

The error was noticed after 26 litres were delivered.

This is a HIPO near miss.
