Judith Ugbeh-Johnson (PQ)

Judith is global aviation product quality authority at bp, based in London, UK. Her career is rooted in advancing aircraft safety and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Judith’s doctoral work focused on SAF and the impact of water/ice in aircraft fuel systems— this foundation led her to a career at Airbus, where she contributed to the 100% SAF flight test programme for Airbus single aisle Neo aircraft. Her technical work gained recognition by both the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Aeronautical Society. She actively mentors and works to widen access to aerospace careers, helping others recognise their place in an industry often seen as niche or inaccessible. Judith joined the PQ Committee in January 2026.
